Coco Nutrients Compared: House & Garden Cocos vs Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco, Price per Liter by Size
Coco Nutrients Compared: House & Garden Cocos vs Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco, Price per Liter by Size
Coco feeds on a different schedule than soil, and the A and B parts are sold in a spread of sizes. Buying the bigger jug is cheaper per liter, and the question is by how much, and whether the lines even compare.
This guide lines up the two coco nutrient lines whose pricing we can stand behind in our live catalog, House & Garden Cocos and Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect Sensi Coco, by price per liter of concentrate at each size.
The 30-Second Answer
Cheapest per liter: House & Garden Cocos at 20L, $2.99. Sensi Coco at its best: $5.44 at 23L. The size effect: House & Garden drops from $10.95 per liter at 1L to $2.99 at 20L, a 73% saving. The catch: price per liter of concentrate isn't cost per feeding, because the lines dose differently.
Both Lines, Every Size
| Line (A or B) | Size | Price each | Per liter | In stock |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| House & Garden Cocos A or B | 1L | $10.95 | $10.95 | 15 |
| House & Garden Cocos A or B | 5L | $26.76 | $5.35 | 14 to 17 |
| House & Garden Cocos A or B | 20L | $59.76 | $2.99 | 20 |
| Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco A or B | 4L | $29.01 | $7.25 | 0 |
| Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco A or B | 10L | $72.51 | $7.25 | 0 to 3 |
| Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco A or B | 23L | $125.02 | $5.44 | 3 to 4 |
How Much Size Saves
The Cocos A and Cocos B from House & Garden show the steepest size effect: $10.95 per liter at 1L, $5.35 at 5L, and $2.99 at 20L. The Sensi Coco Part A and Part B are flatter: $7.25 per liter at 4L and 10L, and $5.44 at 23L, so the big jug saves about 25%. A full feed uses both parts, so a 20L A plus a 20L B from House & Garden costs $119.52 for 40 liters of concentrate, and a 23L pair of Sensi Coco costs $250.04 for 46.
Before You Buy
Check three things: the feed chart for your coco and stage, the size you can store and use before it ages, and stock. Buy the smallest size that is still a good value for your volume.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which coco nutrient is cheapest per liter?
On listing price per liter of concentrate, the House & Garden Cocos A and B 20L at $59.76 each is lowest at $2.99 per liter. Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect Sensi Coco at 23L is $5.44 per liter.
Is price per liter the same as cost per feeding?
No. The two lines dose differently and the listings we reviewed don't state a mix rate we can compare, so price per liter of concentrate is only the starting point. Ask us for the feed chart for your medium.
Do I need both parts?
Both lines are sold as A and B parts, and a full feed uses both. The A and B prices match at every size we compare, so the price per liter is the same for either part.
Why is there no 60L House & Garden comparison?
The Cocos A listing has a 60L variant at $182.29, which is $3.04 per liter, a little more than the 20L. The Cocos B listing has no 60L, so we compared the sizes both parts share.
Why isn't Canna Coco in the chart?
We found pricing on the Canna Coco A and B listings that we can't reconcile, such as different prices for the same 5L size, so we left it out until we have checked it. We won't print a number we can't stand behind.
Which sizes are in stock?
Stock changes daily. The 20L House & Garden and the 23L Sensi Coco sizes have units now, while the Sensi Coco 4L is out. Ask us for current availability before you plan a feed.
Is the price I see the price I will pay?
These are the prices on our product pages. Freight isn't stated in the listings, so ask about shipping on larger sizes.
